PC, Controller & Mobile Riding Keybinds Ledger (10 Controls)

Night Rider supports keyboard, gamepad, and mobile touch controls across all 12-player highway servers. Mastering the core driving, manual gearbox, and stunt inputs lets you hold sustained wheelies through city, industrial, farm, and suburban traffic without clipping barriers or forfeiting unsettled cash.

INPUT GROUP 01 · CORE DRIVING & BRAKING

Throttle (W / S), Lane Weaving (A / D) & Clean Braking (Space)

Use W and S to modulate throttle and reverse, A and D to lean across highway lanes for near-miss combos, and Space to engage front and rear brakes. On the stock Hayate RX-3 (112 mph, 52 hp), full braking stops the motorcycle from 60 to 0 mph in 81 feet. Gentle Space taps also set the front wheel down cleanly to bank an active wheelie.

Throttle / Steer: W/S & A/D Stock 60-0 Brake: 81 ft
INPUT GROUP 02 · WHEELIES & STUNT TRICKS

Hold Wheelie (Left Shift) → Execute Trick (T) → Shift Gears (E / Q)

Hold Left Shift at steady mid-range RPM to lift the front wheel and activate the on-screen WHEELIE counter. Once stable on the rear tire, press T to perform your currently equipped stunt pose from the TRICKS menu. Use E to upshift and Q to downshift manually; installing the Stage 1 Quickshifter ($18,300) cuts E and Q shift times by 45 percent.

Wheelie + Trick: Left Shift + T Manual Gears: E (Up) / Q (Down)
INPUT GROUP 03 · CAMERA, RECOVERY & UTILITY

Camera View (V), Bike Reset (R), Headlights (H / L) & Map (M)

Press V to switch between the wide third-person chase camera and the first-person handlebars cockpit view. If you clip a barrier or wipe out, press R to immediately respawn and right your motorcycle on the highway. Toggle your front headlight beam with L on dark suburban and farm stretches, sound your custom horn with H, and check the session overlay with M.

Cockpit Toggle: V Key Instant Recovery: R Key
Control Action PC Keybind Input Category Mechanical Effect Highway Riding Tip
Throttle / Reverse W / S Core Driving Accelerates forward on the highway or slows/reverses at a standstill. Feather W during high-speed wheelies or death wobbles to avoid looping out.
Steer Left / Right A / D Core Driving Leans the motorcycle across highway lanes for traffic weaving and near misses. Avoid sharp A/D oscillation above 150 mph to prevent triggering a death wobble.
Brake Space Core Driving Engages front and rear brakes (60-0 mph in 81 ft on stock Hayate RX-3). Tap Space gently to bring the front wheel down cleanly and bank an active wheelie.
Wheelie Left Shift Stunts & Scoring Lifts the front wheel to activate the WHEELIE HUD counter and enable stunt tricks. Hold Left Shift at steady mid-range RPM before pressing T to trigger your equipped trick.
Shift Up / Down E / Q Transmission Manually upshifts (E) or downshifts (Q) through the gearbox. Upgrading Transmission to Quickshifter (-45% shift time) speeds up E/Q gear changes.
Perform Trick T Stunts & Scoring Executes the currently equipped stunt trick from the TRICKS menu (One-Hander to Layback). Equip your highest unlocked x PTS trick in the TRICKS menu before starting a highway run.
Change Camera View V Camera & HUD Cycles between third-person chase camera and first-person handlebars cockpit view. Third-person view offers wider peripheral visibility for spotting police roadblocks.
Reset Bike R Recovery Respawns and rights your motorcycle on the highway after a collision or wipeout. Use R immediately if wedged against highway barriers when police are not actively closing in.
Horn / Headlight H / L Utility & Lighting Sounds equipped custom horn (H) or toggles front headlight beam (L) during night rides. Keep headlights (L) enabled on dark suburban and farm highway stretches.
Map M Navigation Opens the route and session navigation overlay. Come to a safe shoulder stop before opening overlays during an active LIVE run.

Wheelie Stunt Tricks Catalog & PTS Multipliers (7 Tricks)

The TRICKS menu contains seven unlockable wheelie poses ranging from the free starter One-Hander (x1.0 PTS) to the $375,000 Layback (x1.6 PTS). Each trick displays an x PTS rating that multiplies your stunt score points during active wheelies. Do not confuse trick x PTS ratings with the permanent Earns x cash multiplier (1x to 4x) tied to your dealership motorcycle.

Tier Trick Name Unlock Cost Raw Cash PTS Multiplier Progression & Usage Note
#1 One-Hander FREE $0 x1.0 PTS Default starter trick equipped out of the tutorial; multiplies stunt score PTS by 1.0x.
#2 Knee Knocker $12,000 $12,000 x1.1 PTS Affordable first trick upgrade; leaves $12,000 if bought from the $24,000 code bankroll.
#3 Stand-Up $32,000 $32,000 x1.2 PTS Stands on the pegs during wheelies for a x1.2 PTS score rating.
#4 Side Saddle $65,000 $65,000 x1.3 PTS Mid-tier stunt pose swinging both legs to one side of the fairing for x1.3 PTS.
#5 Spreader $100,000 $100,000 x1.4 PTS High-tier V-split wheelie stunt granting x1.4 PTS.
#6 Flamingo $200,000 $200,000 x1.5 PTS One-legged balance wheelie stunt granting x1.5 PTS.
#7 Layback $375,000 $375,000 x1.6 PTS Top-tier stunt trick in the TRICKS menu with the highest x1.6 PTS rating.

How Stunt Trick PTS Differs from Dealership Bike Cash Multipliers

When planning how to spend your initial $24,000 from redeem codes, prioritize a higher-multiplier dealership bike like the Corvara RV 660 ($12,500, Earns 1.15x cash) before buying expensive stunt tricks. Even after purchasing the Corvara RV 660, you retain $11,500—just $500 shy of unlocking the second trick, Knee Knocker ($12,000, x1.1 PTS), after a single short highway run.

High-Speed Death Wobble Recovery & Wheelie Execution Protocol

Riding at high speed or over-correcting with sharp A and D steering inputs can trigger violent handlebar oscillation known as a death wobble. Because crashing or getting boxed in by police forfeits unbanked run momentum, use the three-step recovery protocol and speed-band reference table below to stabilize your chassis.

PROTOCOL 01 · THROTTLE MODULATION

Ease Off W & Feather Throttle Smoothly

As soon as the handlebars begin oscillating at high speed or the front wheel pitches too high during a Left Shift wheelie, release W briefly instead of holding full throttle. Feathering W lets the front fork settle back onto its natural tracking line without looping out backward.

Trigger: Full-Throttle Pitch Action: Feather W Input
PROTOCOL 02 · STEERING DAMPING

Stop Rapid A / D Counter-Steering Above 150 mph

Rapidly tapping A and D back and forth above 150 mph amplifies chassis roll and forces the motorcycle into a tank-slapper wipeout. Center your steering line in a clear lane gap, tap Space lightly to settle the front tire, and wait for the wobble to subside before weaving again.

Danger Zone: >150 mph Weaving Action: Center Line + Tap Space
PROTOCOL 03 · CHASSIS & TIRE UPGRADES

Install Tire Slicks, Carbon Brakes & Quickshifter

Upgrading your tires in the garage PERFORMANCE bay from Stock to Sport ($8,250), Track ($20,150), or Race slicks ($41,200) adds +6% to +18% grip and +2 to +6 degrees of lean angle, making high-speed lane splitting and wheelie landings far more forgiving.
